Mark is a San Francisco studio photographer looking to do something radically different. He teamed up with CINÉSTUDIO's Joe Seif to explore the ins and outs of studio cinematography. This clip, a camera test for a larger assignment, is the result of tethered capture with the HVX-200 and Final Cut Pro. Joe suggested that they shoot in the above vertical or "portrait" format, an aesthetic decision that most portrait photographers naturally divert to. Mark was thrilled. More to come.
